Smoky Mountain Rain is a wonderfully secluded rustic cabin with all the modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Enjoy the fireplace on a chilly night. Sit on the porch and listen to the birds. This is the place for a great family vacation.
We’ve got a new sleeper sofa and love seat as well!
The cabin is conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, just off Hwy 321 and a very short drive to the wonderful Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The space

The cabin is simple and comfortable. 3 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, in addition to a sofa-bed in the living room. 2 full baths, one on each floor. A fully-equipped kitchen and a dining table that can expand to easily serve 8 people. The living room is cozy with couch and chairs along with some floor pillows. Sit on the couch and enjoy the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, or get out on the porch and listen to the songs of the birds. The pond is right down the hill and is good for bank fishing. Feel free to feed the ducks!
You are a short 12 minute drive into the park via the Gatlinburg by-pass. Miles of hiking trails and gorgeous waterfalls are just minutes away.

You have access to the whole cabin, all 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Full kitchen and pantry are all yours. There is a small owners closet that is locked.

Other things to note

Our cleaning company (Mountaineer Cleaning and Maintenance) is taking special cleaning precautions due to the COVID-19 outbreak. They have assured us that they are taking special care in the cleaning supplies they use and in the way they clean to assure a safe and healthy environment.

The cleaning company also provides a “starter pack” of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels etc. If you are only staying for a few days this should be adequate for you. However, if you are staying a full week or more, please know that you will need to supply your own toiletry and other hygiene items.
