Nearby Chimney Rock State Park (13 mi.) is a 1000-acre scenic attraction with dozens of trails and the spectacular 400-foot-high Hickory Nut Falls. The home is located 9 miles from Lake Lure Beach, a sandy beach with a swimming area and water slides (in season)! Delight in trying the local restaurants, plus there are many varied shops to browse. The cities of Asheville (35 min.) and Hendersonville (31 min.) are both great places to visit for fine dining, shopping, and evening entertainment. This Asheville vacation rental is located near Bat Cave and is approximately 35 minutes from downtown Asheville; all above 2,277ft sea level.
