This classic log cabin is outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a real vacation getaway, including a wide wrap-around deck with rocking chairs and an outstanding view, a hot tub, a wood-burning stove, and a fire pit next to a Koi pond.

Three stories of living space include a bedroom and full bath on each level, three flat-screen TVs with satellite service and streaming channels (guests must use their own account for subscription services), and a lower-level bonus room that features a dry bar with a beverage fridge and a Keurig coffee maker.

For outdoor fun, take a break in the hot tub, feed the fish that live in the little pond, build a bonfire and roast marshmallows, or kick back on the hammock with a good book. The nearest supermarket is in Canton, 20 minutes away, where you’ll also find dining options. Outdoor activities in the area include whitewater rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, and skiing and snowboarding at Cataloochee Ski Area (49 min.). This Asheville vacation rental is located in Canton and is approximately 34 minutes from downtown Asheville, 4,286ft above sea level.

Important Property Notes
• 4WD/AWD Required in Winter: During the winter months and inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is required to access this property. Please ensure your vehicle has sufficient clearance (i.e. SUV, Truck, or raised sedan). Low-clearance vehicles with 4WD/AWD are not recommended.
• Travel Insurance Recommended: During the winter months we ask you to please consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home.
• Noise Ordinance & Speed Limit: Glade Mountain Top Retreat is located in a private community perfect for peaceful enjoyment. This community has a very low noise tolerance and is under a noise ordinance between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. There is also a 17 MPH speed limit throughout the community.
• Amenities: Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.
• Internet Speed. This property is equipped with an internet connection with speeds up to 7 Mbps.

Please note that this property’s Non-Refundable Period is 31 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking.
