This long and wide section of the river ranges from around 3-5 feet, 5ft being the deepest in certain areas. Expect to see trout, birds, deer, and the occasional sasquatch. Reports of Harry the Sasquatch have been reported behind the cabin. North Georgia Big Foot enthusiasts beware. During our visit, we spent some time fishing and relaxing on the banks of the river. When the time comes to venture back up to the cabin, you will find a number of amenities to keep you entertained. The bottom deck is the centerfold of Alfresco living spaces. Here you will find a hot tub, rocking swing, and a fire pit area. Firewood, a s’mores kit, and fire starters are a few of the thoughtful amenities that are provided. Gather round with the ones you love and spark up a fire with ease.

 

 

 

This fire pit area is one of the best places around the property to laugh and have fun in. The fire pit isn’t the only way to warm up at Harry’s Cabin. Hop in the new 6-person hot tub and crank the jets up high!! This luxurious hot tub is sure to put you in a deep state of tranquility. The hot tub is regularly cleaned and separate hot tub towels are provided!! After your fun has been had in the hot tub, dry off and head inside for a comfortable cabin night. The chef of the group will have a ball in the fully equipped kitchen. Cook your favorite meal in the kitchen then stream one of your favorite movies on the 65′ TV.

Things To Do In Ellijay Georgia

We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinner in the large kitchen. The best meal of them all was on the 2nd day we were at Harry’s. We cooked smoked salmon, goat cheese eggs, banana buttermilk pancakes, spinach and drank coffee for breakfast. This meal really hit the spot!!! The living room includes a gas fireplace that you may indulge in. Sleeping arrangements come easy at this spacious riverfront North Georgia cabin rental. On the main level, you will find an en-suite master bedroom with a king bed and a custom rainfall shower. The rainfall shower at this Cherry Log cabin rental will leave you in awe!! Upstairs, you will find two more accommodating bedrooms that your group may choose from. The first bedroom features two full bunk beds. This room is a great option for the kids or extra guests. The second upstairs bedroom features a queen bed with a unique climbing theme throughout the room. Climbing ropes and belays for decoration only.

Both of the upstairs bedrooms share a connected bathroom. Head down to the basement where you will find the fourth bedroom. The basement bedroom features an en-suite bathroom + direct access to the bottom level deck. Walk outside to have direct access to the hot tub, fire pit area, & river.

 

The basement area is also a great place to hang out and doubles as a second living room. Turn on the HDTV, play some arcade games, or board games. Venture to downtown Ellijay where you will find noteworthy restaurants & shops. The Roof Ellijay has a number of sports bar related items and even fine dining options ranging from burgers to mountain trout. This restaurant really lives up to it’s name as it rests on the Roof of one of downtown Ellijay’s tallest buildings.
