Originally built as a storage barn, the Boat House is the only cabin constructed entirely from wood milled on our property. One of the most popular accommodations at Cherry Ridge Retreat!! The Boat House has received many updates over the years and is now designated as one of our pet-friendly locations. Featuring a private deck, gazebo, and luxurious private sauna on the lake. This is truly one of the most unique cabins for couples and families. Boat House allows 2 adults, 2 kids. 4 adults are not allowed. 

Hocking Hills most unique rustic luxury cabin! Features a private dock and gazebo, with luxurious sauna on the lake, and hot tub outside the cabin! In the warmer months, enjoy the included row boat, and in the cooler months, build a cracking fire in the indoor fireplace. King size bed, queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Make memories to last a lifetime at the Boat House!

Hocking Hills Cabins

The Boat House offers a blend of pet-friendly rustic luxury, with ample space and amenities for a comfortable and memorable stay. Accommodating up to four guests, this spacious cabin includes a deluxe three-person hot tub and exclusive access to the lake—shared only with the nearby Lake House. Guests can enjoy a dock, a seasonal fishing boat, and a lakeside sauna. Stocked lake. Fish for striped and largemouth bass, hybrid blue gill, perch, and sauger, providing excellent catch-and-release fishing opportunities. 

Inside, the cabin features a large, lake-view family room with a queen-sized sleeper sofa and a cozy wood-burning fireplace, available during the winter months. For added comfort and convenience, the Boat House includes central heating and air conditioning. You will also find complimentary Wi-Fi, and a landline phone with free long-distance service. Entertainment options include Smart TVs with live channels, and guests will find an array of amenities like linens, pillows, blankets, and all-natural Aveda bath products. USB and wireless chargers are also provided.

Hocking Hills Cabin Rentals Pet Friendly

The gourmet kitchen is equipped with top-tier appliances, including a drip coffee maker and grinder, a blender, a food processor, and stainless cookware. A beverage station with complimentary creamers, sweeteners, teas, and coffee samples is available as well. Enjoy the deluxe gas grill with propane included. Guests have access to meticulously maintained private hiking paths that wind through over 140 acres of forested land. Complete with trail maps for serene woodland exploration. 

Indoor fireplaces are a seasonal amenity and only available for use from October through April.
