Whitetail Lodge welcomes you to Western North Carolina with the warmth of a comfortable, well-stocked mountain home that offers plenty of places to relax. Take in the beautiful view from a front porch rocking chair, soak your worries away in the bubbly hot tub, or kick back in a recliner and watch a movie in the loft sitting area. Imagine days filled with Smoky Mountain adventures followed by evenings spent relaxing by a wood fire in the stone hearth with the aromas of a home-cooked dinner filling the cabin. Whitetail Lodge makes mealtimes a breeze with a fully equipped kitchen and family dining table, plus there’s an outdoor dining area and a gas grill for cookouts on the deck.

If you’re traveling with kids, features such as gated decks and two full baths with tubs make Whitetail Lodge perfect for family getaways. Bonus: the main bedroom and the upper-level bedroom both have their own TV with satellite service! For groups that need additional sleeping space, there’s a queen sleeper sofa in the loft area. Take a day trip to Asheville to explore its thriving culinary and art scenes and area attractions such as the Biltmore House and River Arts District. Outdoor activities in the area include whitewater rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, and, just 30 minutes away, skiing and snowboarding at Cataloochee Ski Area. Please ensure your vehicle has sufficient clearance (i.e. SUV, Truck, or raised sedan). Low-clearance vehicles with 4WD/AWD are not recommended. For the extra effort, however, you are rewarded with seclusion, beauty, and a lot of fun just getting there!
• Travel Insurance Recommended: During the winter months we ask you to please consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home.
• Noise Ordinance: Whitetail Lodge is located in a quiet neighborhood and has a very low noise tolerance. The home is under a noise ordinance between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. It is not suitable for groups that are looking for late nights of celebration on the deck. Carolina Mornings offers many properties that offer seclusion, so if this is an inconvenience for you, please give us a call and we will help you find the perfect property to match your needs!
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the indoor wood stove and/or the outdoor fire pit, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.

Property Cancellation Policy
Please note that this property’s Non-Refundable Period is 31 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking.
