While the cabin does provide limited internet service, this is the perfect opportunity to put away your devices and reconnect with loved ones.

After a day full of mountain adventures, soak your worries away in the claw foot tub and relax with your favorite movie – don’t forget to bring your favorite DVDs (cable/satellite service is not available). A good night’s sleep awaits you in the upper level loft, offering two bedroom areas divided by a privacy wall. Take a step back in time and clear your mind at Doggett Cabin!

Breathtaking scenic drives stretch out into the mountains in every direction from here, showcasing the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge. Head north for outdoor adventures including hiking the Appalachian Trail, skiing, and whitewater rafting. Area attractions such as the Biltmore Estate and the River Arts District are less than an hour’s drive, close enough for a day trip, and just right to feel like you’re a million miles away from it all! This Asheville vacation rental is located in Leicester and is approximately 35 minutes to downtown Asheville, 2,603ft above sea level.

This property does not have a washer/dryer available, and does not provide linens/towels/blankets. Please bring your own linens to fit 1 Queen bed and 3 Twin Beds, along with blankets and enough towels to accommodate your stay. Kitchenette does not come with an oven, stove, or dishwasher. An electric hot plate, mini-fridge, and coffee maker are provided for your enjoyment. This property is naturally cooled in the summer. While there is no central A/C, the home is usually kept very pleasant by the shade and covered front porch. Baseboard heating available (on/off only, no temperature control) and a wood stove to keep you warm on chilly nights. Guests will need to be prepared to use these features to regulate the temperature level.

• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.

Property Cancellation Policy
Please note that this property’s Non-Refundable Period is 31 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking.
